How you can get involved.
Use your gifts to serve the church and our community through one of these ministries.
Mercy Ministry
Support families facing financial difficulty in our congregation and, through Christian humanitarian partners, the wider northern suburbs of Cape Town. Volunteers meet weekly at the Lazarus Shed to distribute food parcels. You can help with the parcels or drop off donations of non-perishable food at the church.
Evangelism & Outreach
Share the love of Jesus with people in our community who may not yet know Him. This is a ministry we would love to grow, and we'd welcome a conversation if you're interested in reaching out to others and taking part.
Visitation Ministry
Offer prayer, encouragement, and practical care to members of our congregation in hospitals, nursing homes, and their own homes. If you have a heart for the sick and elderly, this is a way to come alongside others and help them feel connected to our church family.
Music Ministry
Help lead our congregation in worship on Sundays and at special worship events throughout the year. Our music team brings together singers and musicians who want to use their gifts to praise God. If you sing or play an instrument, we'd love to hear from you.
Sound & Video
Serve behind the scenes to help our services and events run smoothly. The team operates the sound system, displays song lyrics and Bible passages, and records sermons. If you enjoy working with technology, this is a practical way to support worship and teaching at church.
Building & Maintenance
Help keep our church facilities safe, welcoming, and in good repair through building, painting, repairs, and general upkeep. Whether you have a knack for fixing things or simply enjoy practical work, there are ways to put your time and skills to use around the church.
Sunday School
Help children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus. Our Sunday School teachers provide a safe, welcoming place to learn and grow in faith. If you have a heart for teaching and mentoring children, we'd love to talk with you about getting involved.
Kitchen Ministry
Make people feel welcome through the simple gift of hospitality. Our kitchen team serves tea and coffee after services, prepares communion, and keeps the kitchen clean and organised. This is a practical way to care for the congregation and help people spend time together.
Security Ministry
Help create a safe and welcoming environment during services and events. Our security team greets people at the doors, looks out for the congregation, and keeps an eye on the church premises. If you have a heart for caring for others in this way, get in touch.
Stewards Ministry
Support the practical details that help our services run smoothly. Stewards take up and count the collection, assist with serving communion, and help with tasks such as opening and closing windows. This ministry offers a way to serve the church through dependable, everyday care.
Not sure where to start?
You don't need to have a ministry in mind. Get in touch and we can talk about your interests and ways to get involved.
